New Toys…

February 24, 2009

Road testing a new lens… and discovering that large white Canon ones also gain access to far better vantage points!  Focusing, with an attempted shallow depth of field, is still an issue – but results (so far) are on the Flickr page.  The race?  Oh yeah – he won it.

They Like Her…

Photoshop Rescue…

December 9, 2008

I’m always pretty rough on myself with rubbish photographs… delete them permanently immediately after download from the camera.  The top one nearly went the same way – except that there was a rather nice family story lurking behind the crappy exposure…

Close to the lively centre of the pretty Provençal village of Saint Didier, facing vineyards and open countryside rising towards the plateau of Vaucluse, are two quite independent cottages, L’Amandier and La Courette, for holiday lets throughout the year.  This is where we found Annette Crossley (nee Cowderoy) who is helping with the Overseas Visitors Club section of this site.  More here…
